Indian Remy Hair is by nature very fine and soft in all its’ textures thus one does not need to weigh down the hair with many heavy products. Weft Reinforcement (optional): To prolong the life of your wefts, a liquid acrylic sealant may be applied prior to installation using fray block or fray check. General Instructions for all hair: Shampooing/conditioning in shower water works best, because you can control the volume of the water that goes onto the hair. Lightly place head under shower then shampoo by working the lather from the root to the ends with a soft patting motion using the palm of your hands. Rinse thoroughly and condition and rinse in the same manner. When shampooing never go back and forth on the hair. Never sleep with wet hair and always pull hair back in a ponytail when sleeping or swimming. Use styling products in moderation due to the finest and texture of the hair. When using hot styling tools (flat irons, curling irons) check for proper temperature control to avoid burning the hair.Straight/wavy: This hair should be shampooed and conditioned. Gently brushed with a paddle brush starting from the ends to root and allowed to air dry. Hair may be wet-set with rollers for a full bouncy look or can be flat iron with the use of a very light hair serum. Curly: Curly hair requires more moisture, so moisture shampoos and conditioners are recommended. This hair performs best in its naturally curly state. Use of a baby detangler spray is great for this texture of hair and a light curl-definer may be used if desired. Note: Permanent coloring/cold-wave perming, Relaxing or bleaching may cause dryness. Proper care should be taken to ensure moisture to the hair. Intensive protein treatments (Aphogee) every six weeks will preserve the longevity of the hair. |
